Monitoring equipment cases and a mast being unloaded at a UK construction site entrance

Who We Support

From delivery on site to recovery at off-hire

Monitoring equipment out on hire has to work in a live site environment, stay working while the project changes around it, and come back with a clear record of what happened to it. NVD covers that field layer for hire companies.

Installation of hired equipment

Equipment installed properly in a working site environment — mounting, enclosures and positioning that survive the rest of the project.

Handover & commissioning

Systems started and checked to the requirements supplied with the hire, and the hirer's site team shown what they need to know.

Power & connectivity

Mains, battery and solar arrangements plus SIM, cellular and antenna issues sorted so the equipment stays live and reporting.

Fault attendance & swaps

Attendance when something stops working, with a replacement unit fitted on site where that is the practical answer.

Relocations

Positions moved when the hirer's works move, reinstalled and recommissioned rather than left in the wrong place.

End-of-hire recovery

Equipment and field infrastructure removed, the position left tidy and safe, and everything prepared for return or storage as instructed.

Condition & identity records

A factual record of what went out and what came back

Records describe what NVD observed and did on site. Commercial arrangements around the hire itself remain between the hire company and its customer.

  • Equipment identity recorded on installation and on recovery
  • Photographic record of condition at both ends of the hire
  • Recovery of batteries, solar, cabinets, antennas, mounts and accessories where applicable
  • Anything missing, damaged or altered on site noted factually
  • Confirmation that equipment was operational on departure after each visit
  • Reporting directed back to the hire company

Working with your customer

Professional on site, discreet about NVD

NVD attends under your instruction, supports your customer's site team properly and reports back to you. There is no unnecessary promotion of NVD on your customer's site, and neutral or agreed documentation can be used where the arrangement requires it.
