About NVD
Independent UK field support for environmental monitoring equipment
NVD Site Services works on site, on behalf of the organisations responsible for environmental monitoring: consultancies, monitoring companies, equipment manufacturers, hire companies and contractors. We install, maintain and recover the equipment so the data keeps arriving and the people who own the methodology can stay focused on it.
What we do
Our core work is field services for noise, vibration, dust and air-quality monitoring equipment: installation and commissioning, planned checks and maintenance, first-line troubleshooting and fault response, equipment swaps, relocation as works progress, and decommissioning and recovery at the end of a programme. Every visit is written up factually, with photographic evidence of what was found and what was done.
Where a client needs the whole service rather than field support alone, we also provide managed monitoring for commercial projects — deploying and operating the equipment ourselves. That work is deliberately bounded: methodology, trigger levels and regulatory interpretation remain with the appointed specialist or consultant unless a separate scope is agreed.
How we work
We work UK-wide from a base in Bedfordshire, attending planned programmes and reactive call-outs. Scope is agreed in writing before attendance, site rules and inductions are followed, and reporting is kept factual rather than interpretive.
